Unit 2: Core Grammar

Learn verbal morphology, noun phrases, pronouns, possession, and the copular pattern.

  • Attach verbal suffixes in the right order.

Unit 3: Word Building

Use postpositions, classifiers, and particles to grow the lexicon productively.

  • Place postpositions after noun phrases.
  • Choose the right classifier.
  • Read and build compounds.

Unit 4: Questions and Complex Clauses

Finish with questions, conversational replies, relative clauses, complement clauses, coordination, and ditransitives.

  • Ask yes/no and content questions.
  • Manage basic conversational moves.
  • Link clauses with ra and re.
  • Write short connected discourse.
